• Brinometers for measuring the strength of a brine Solution. 
• The brine Tester, or Salinometer, is floated in the brine solution giving a reading indicating the concentration of the brine. 
• These high precision testers will gauge brine solutions in the range of 0-100%. 
• The scale is displayed in increments of 1.0°C with an accuracy of ±1.0°C and adjusted at 15.6ºC. 

Directions for use:

A brinometer measurement is taken by the point on the scale it breaks the surfaces whilst floating in a salt solution. If your sample has high salt it will float to the surface. If a sample has low levels of dissolved salt, you will only see the tip of the brinometer above the surface. In this case you will need to make sure there is enough salt solution to prevent your unit from touching the bottom of the container and effecting your reading.
