Stepped penetration probe for ATFE series thermometers, designed for applications requiring extremely quick response times and minimal product damage. Probe stem constructed from 3.3mm diameter stainless steel for maximum strength, with final 30mm of probe stepped down to a 1.6 mm penetration point, thereby considerably reducing measurement response time and making the STE108 well suited to smaller products in the value-adding process. Type T Thermocouple temperature sensor delivers increased temperature range at maximum speed whilst maintaining respectable accuracy of ±0.5°C.
