To ensure your anti-microbial door push plates deliver maximum effectiveness, we recommend the faceplate is replaced approximately every 12 months. A red indicator on the faceplate will tell you when it is due for replacement to ensure you get maximum lifespan out of each unit.
Replacing the faceplate takes 30 seconds, thanks to the fixing-free magnetic design - no tools or screws required.
This unit is also supplied with VHR (Visual Hygiene Reminder) technology as standard - incorporated into the door sign is a discreet light which flashes every 3 seconds to act as a visual reminder to use the antimicrobial door handle as you pass through the doorway, further improving staff engagement and compliance, all whilst reducing the risk of spreading bacteria and viruses.

How It Works
- Microbes are deposited onto the push plate by users. Common microbes found on door furniture include E-coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter and Staph Aureus.
- Silver ions (Ag) penetrate the cell membrane of the microbe.
- The ions suffocate the microbe and attack it's DNA to prevent reproduction.
